Biography

Son of Hamilton and Sarah Freeburn Erskine and husband of Agnes Elizabeth Furr of Worth, Kent. 

Kenneth Erskine was hit by shrapnel and died on 14th October 1944 on the battlefield of Overloon in the direction of Merselo.

He was temporary buried with five other “Royal Ulsters” on a temporary cemetery in the Helderse Bossen.

They were all reburied in 1947 at Overloon War Cemetery, Plot 4, row D, grave 7-12.
