Lights on war graves

During Christmas Eve 2021, 281 candles were lit on the graves of the fallen soldiers buried here at the Overloon War Cemetery. 

All 110 portrait photos were also placed at the graves by a number of volunteers from the Overloon War Chronicles Foundation and Veterans of the Municipality of Boxmeer.

A beautiful and impressive sight during Christmas for residents of Overloon and other interested parties who took a stroll to the cemetery.
