It was indescribably wonderful to see how much interest there was from adopters, residents, veterans from the Land van Cuijk, Mayor Marieke Moorman, Councillor Bouke van Vugt and many partners and other interested parties.<\/p>\n<p>The music of Fanfare Vriendenkring and the Bag Pipers was heart-warming. There was visible emotion when hearing the song and story of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.overloonwarchronicles.nl\/en\/hawksby-john-victor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Victor Hawksby<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The hot chocolate and crackling fire added to the atmosphere and warmth, making it a very special gathering.
