Our esteemed colleague Tonnie Ebben handed over four unique, historical field crosses to the visitors&#8217; center of the War Cemetery in Bergen op Zoom.<\/p>\n<p>The story behind these crosses is almost unbelievable: they were discovered in a scrap metal bin in Sint Anthonis! Fortunately, someone recognized their historical significance, and they found their way to Tonnie (owner of the war museum <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanpostzegeltottank.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oorlogsmuseum van postzegel tot tank<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>After a brief investigation, it turned out the crosses belonged to British and Canadian soldiers buried at the military honors fields in Bergen op Zoom.
