On 14 October, the first 100 portrait photos were presented in the presence of the Queen&#8217;s Commissioner of the Province of North Brabant, the Mayor of Boxmeer, children from the Josef School in Overloon and many other invited guests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.overloonwarchronicles.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Onthulling-fotos-oorlogskerkhof-Overloon-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"Onthulling-foto's-oorlogskerkhof-Overloon\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2369 alignleft\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.overloonwarchronicles.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Onthulling-fotos-oorlogskerkhof-Overloon-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.overloonwarchronicles.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Onthulling-fotos-oorlogskerkhof-Overloon.jpg 441w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><span>The King&#8217;s Commissioner has unveiled the 100th portrait photo. This photo is of the only Dutchman buried at Overloon War Cemetery: Wil van der Burgt. She was supported by Van der Burgt&#8217;s cousin of the same name. Overloon War Chronicles Foundation has spent the past few years working to give a face again to the often young boys who were killed and buried far from home.
